How do I get a discount on motor rewind?

Eligible motor rewinds following Green Motors Initatives may qualify for rebates from your local utility, such as BC Hydro. Rebates are provided by GMPG member shops such as Beaver Electrical.

How do I choose a motor rewind shop?

The most important factor when choosing a motor rewind shop is if they have a quality management program such as EASA ANSI AR100 or ISO 9001. It is also important to consider trade group memberships such as EASA, Green Motors, and manufacturer certifications such as ABB or Xylem Flygt.

How many times can you rewind a motor?

As long as the core iron is good, there generally is no limit to the number of times a motor can be rewound.
